Warsaw has two airports:
- Chopin WAW is Poland main airport used by both national and low-cost carriers. It is located 15 min from city center and is well conected by public transport.
- Modlin WMI is used mainly by Ryanair airline. It is located 25 km, 40 mins by car, away from Warsaw city center. From Modlin you can get to city center by shuttle bus https://www.modlinbus.pl (around 10 euro) or take taxi (around 40 eur).
Flight from most Europe destinations takes 2h - 3h.
Ticket fees vary greetly depending on airlines but you can easily book a low-cost carrier ticket from most destinations in price of 30-50 euro.
Remember that the fee for stay in Warsaw Prison includes transfer from hotel, airport to prison and way back.
2. To Warsaw by car
If you don't want to fly you can always take car. There is quite a lot of motorways in Poland and Warsaw is connected directly with Berlin by A2 highway.
